I believe that even if one is an artist, and ‘feels’ that he ‘owns’ the right of expression, he must not offend religious sentiments.

Freedom of expression carries a responsibility, and one must exercise that freedom, in such a way that it is respectful.

It pains my heart to note the amount of unrest that ‘the cartoons’ and ‘derogatory paintings of Hindu Goddesses and Bharat Mata’ have brought about in a planet which is already groaning with violence inflicted in the name of religion.
