The charming lady you see alongside is one of the most remarkable I know.
She is Mala Daswani...I have known her since I was young...She has an uncanny sixth sense, has managed to overcome serious physical ailments and continue to smile.
I am not surprised that she has been elected President of Rotary club, Queen City Bombay. She mentioned in her speech that her pet project is empowerment of women...Maybe we shall continue to connect since I believe in the cause... Hari Ichhaa!

Though not clear, in the alongside photograph you will see Mala in the foreground...I have known her since I was a child. She has had most physical diseases that you can think of...At the time of marriage, she was diagnozed with a heart ailment, 30 years ago she was given only 15 days to live as she was diagnosed with a life threatening disease and she could not keep down a morsel...About 10 years ago doctors said she will never walk, yet she dances!

I admire her determination and her zest for life. I once asked her how she does it. She says she believes more in herself than she does in her doctor's verdicts.
