The above picture is taken on my daughter's birthday.
Love and happy memories doth a life of meaning make!

Women's Movement for Peace and Prosperity had a Mother Child health Camp on Sunday 27th May 2007 at Bal Bhavan. The Mayor, Dr. Shubha Raul had agreed to come as the chief guest for the program, but due to an emergency was unable to attend.

Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre and Apollo Clinic partnered with us in this camp.

It is once again a re-affirmation of the fact that a lot of good can be achieved if people join hands...

It is strange how God listens to something you say immediately and somethings he takes time! But I suppose God has His own pace and it also may depend on 'faith'.
Having said that I don't think so...because most of what I have done...correction! what has been done through me...did not require faith as such...maybe it was a sort of 'letting go' after having done ones best...One such case in point...is the fact that I was 'seeing' the lung of South Bombay 'balding'...trees were being cleared...people concerned claimed that they had 'fallen' who knows? But I felt that what was happening had to stop! If trees had to be cleared then 'tree authorities' would have to give the 'green signal' pun intended...
Anyway what I was looking for was that some newspaper/authority takes pictures of the condition prevalent now...so that they could be held accountable in a few weeks time if this indiscriminate felling of trees continues.
And my prayer was answered!

...and now I feel blessings coming to me from the trees which surround my house!

I love what the following email forward has to say about Life.
Have edited the note:

Life isn't fair, but it's still good
When in doubt, just take the next small step
You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
You can get through anything if you stay put in today.
Frame every so-called disaster with these words: "In five years, will
this matter?"
Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
Believe in miracles.
Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

I was told to forward this note to 10 people...now I hate to be told what to do...and if I do not, hell will break loose...so most of the time I do not do it...even though I would like to...I hate making people fearful and superstitious and I do not like to be superstitious myself...So you share the following only if you would like to...and I wish you all the abundance!

Have made it shorter so that busy people also read it :)

Become a Channel of Abundance!
By Margot Zaher and Jafree Ozwald

Abundance is the inherent nature of the Universe. We live in a truly abundant Universe where there is an abundance of things, ideas, love, money, friends, and opportunities all around us.
Even though you may not feel it all the time, the abundant Universe is always here now...
The Universe is always sending you a plethora of energy, ideas, and people to help you tap into this natural abundant state. To experience this abundance, simply let go, trust, open up, and receive it...

The more gratitude you have, the more abundance you'll attract.

When you open yourself up to the abundance vibration, you become a channel of abundance for yourself, and everyone around you.

Here are two exercises to help you tap into your natural ability to channel abundance into your life and into the lives of others:

1. Fully Acknowledge, Accept, and Embrace Your Abundant Nature

The secret of feeling your abundant nature is to open your heart, and fully embrace the abundance that has already blessed your life.

Remove any shielding around your heart and imagine throwing it into a big fire. Let your armor melt away. Then, breathe deeply and physically open your arms wide, inviting this abundant Universe into your heart. With each in-breath, imagine that EVERYTHING in the entire Universe is pouring into your heart; all the stars, planets, Earth, and all its people. Feel how truly abundant life already is.

You may have partially closed the door to feeling this abundance due to past conditioning or scarcity thinking. Consciously open the door now, and proclaim the truth to the Universe by stating, "I am a truly abundant being!" Shout this message out over and over until you feel that it has penetrated deeply into your soul.

Become a Channel of Abundance for Others
A few ways that you can be this channel are giving your time spontaneously to someone who needs it, unconditionally giving your love to someone lacking love, sharing new inspirational ideas with others, emailing others inspiring information, giving gifts to people just for fun, or sharing something beautiful you have created like music or poetry...

Be the first to start the trend! All greed, fear, and lack will be eliminated when we all share freely from this truly abundant state. It will be impossible to have another war.

What wonderful wings!

I was reading Janina Gomes who writes:

How did birds get their wings?...

God said to them: "Come take up these burdens and bear them".

The birds hesitated at first... however taking up the wings in their beaks, they laid them on their shoulders to carry them...Soon they discovered how to use their wings and were lifted by them up into the air. The weights became wings.

...and so it is with weights and burdens that we carry through life...they become the pinions God has made to lift us up..."

In the picture at the left: with our son and his family...In the picture on the right:My husband's sisters...waiting for one of my married daughters to come down so that we can have yet another party...Life is to celebrate...
We wished my husband a great day, year, life...

Meanings of life
What is the meaning of life?

"Keeping cool," said the ice.
"Driving hard," said the hammer.
"Being up-to-date," said the calendar.
"Being sharp," said the knife.
"Making light around you," said the fire.
"Sticking to it," said the glue.
"Being bright," said the lamp.
"Being on time," said the clock.
"Saving a drop," said the faucet.
And best of all, "learning from it," said the mistake.

I was watching an Oprah program on tv...It was a question of 'How happy are you?' and they were offering some solutions...Sharing them with you
1) We are here (life) for a short spell...enjoy!
2)Stop being a superman or woman and start being a real man or woman
3)As you feel so you deserve...
4) You cant pursue happiness...Spirituality claims that that is your real nature!

Those who are happiest...
1) Thank the Lord everyday
Think: Marvelous Monday...Excellent Tuesday
2) Being significant is better than being succesful
3)Use the Law of attraction
Negative out
Positive In
4)It may be a risk to follow your joy but otherwise you die before you die!

I have put on 3 kilos because i decided that it is time to enjoy and not worry and as long as i eat sensibly it will be alright. Well it was not!
Then I got this email
I loved it:
...But mid-life also brings with it an appreciation for what is important. We
realize that hips expand and chins double, but our loved ones
make the journey worthwhile. Would any of you trade the knowledge that you
have now, for the body you had way back when? Maybe our bodies simply have
to expand to hold all the wisdom and love we've acquired...

Today attended a function to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of 'Children of the World' which is an adoption agency. Parents had brought their adopted children to the function. There were baloons, clowns, eatables...parents explaining how their world has lit up ever since they brought their baby home...Children reciting poems, singing, dancing... It was a delight...but the best part: The word adoption was used as naturally as having had a baby...So many have adopted after they have had biological children...yes, after not before..!
Wonderful!

Took my grand-daughter Aysha to Sanskruti at Nehru Centre. It was a presentation of various traditional and modern forms of Indian Performing Arts...She loved it. She said it was so colorful and nice!
It was such a joy to see wonder in young eyes...There is nothing stopping us from feeling the same. If we remove our masks and our make-up...we are simple like a child...and life holds a promise...closed doors that are waiting to be opened...no matter what your age!

A well-wisher loved one sent me this mail...the sad part? It is true, so do send me your good wishes so that I may move on my destined path...and make the right choice...
The note:
My dear,

Your activities as in Shacune are very interesting.
Keep up the good work.

The snake eats the "fire-fly".
The "fire-fly" shines with brilliance.
One day the "fire-fly" told the snake.
I know you are going to eat me but before you
do so, please answer 3 questions.
"Am I part of your food?"
NO
"Am I a part of your diet?"
NO
"Have I caused you any harm"
NO
"Then, why do want to eat me?"
Because I despise when you shine with brilliance!

Love
H.

and after the previous note H sends the following:

My dear,
...I felt like writing the story of the snake and the fire fly to you..
There is little one can do to combat envy and jealousy.
Spread love even to those who despise you . Refuse
to bow to their levels since you are much above their
pettiness.
You continue with your dharma without attachment
to fruits of action, without attachment to any post
or position.
Your destiny will be fulfilled.

My messages to you are from the heart.
Get acustomed to the grains and go to the
Mountain.
The Mountain is waiting for you with all
His patience.
Love
H

The Universe is Waiting to Take Your Order
by Susan Ann Darley

What would you like? A new car, your dream home, a new career? No problem. Just ask and believe it is so. Then it will be. Does that sound too simplistic? Years ago I was told the story of masters that literally went from town to town and manifested the needs and desires of the townspeople. They were happy to do so, but they secretly wished the people would do it for themselves. But they didn't because they did not believe that it was possible.

We live in a world of possibilities. God is creative energy waiting for you to mold and shape a life for yourself that is filled with what you love.

If it is that simple, then why don't we? Sometimes we simply do not know what we want. Or we do have a moment of clarity and ask and we do receive only to find out later we didn't want it after all. Or we ask, and like a little child beating on a highchair, we demand our own timing and walk away disillusioned when our desires do not manifest quickly.

There are three simple secrets to manifesting your desires: clarity, alignment and faith.

Let's begin with clarity. In order to achieve clarity you must become quiet. There is a sacred space inside of you that will allow you to feel your truth and see clearly what you want. But how do we become quiet in today's world with "To do" lists that shout at us and stifle our inner voice? Take control of your life. You are the author of your "To do" list, so now become the editor.

What is truly important to you? How did you feel in the aftermath of September 11? Pull back the feelings and rededicate your life to what is meaningful to you. Create time for you so you may learn to tap into your true desires.

This act leads to alignment with your higher self. Your personality may resist the quietness of your non-acts, but pay no heed to it. It usually gets top billing, so it reacts strongly when bumped! Tell it "No, this is my time."

When you align with your soul you will understand your true desires and wishes. You may even acquire a greater clarity, which reveals to you why some past personality wishes have not manifested.

Ultimately our lives are being guided through our souls. When we become quiet and align with our higher self we instantly have an expansive understanding of our lives. We begin to realize that many choices and decisions are made on higher ground. Our ability to become quiet and tap into our sacred space allows us to align with those choices at a conscious level. And with that understanding comes peace - the powerful poise that allows us to make wise requests of the universe for our highest good and the good of others.

And with that understanding comes wisdom -- that leads to "letting go in faith" and "letting God." Often easier said than done. But how else can you rebuild your world if not from faith? Faith allows for the divine to enter your life as the grand architect of your dreams. Faith is the incubator for your deepest desires to manifest in perfect time.

Clarity, alignment and faith are the three simple requirements to discover and live a life of deep and personal satisfaction. And once they are mastered, you will no longer be ruled by your personality's demands that conflict with your soul's purpose.

What do you want? Quiet…..go deeper and listen. Tap into your passion and wrap it around your dreams and desires. Now - with gratitude, place your order with the universe and let go in peace and walk in faith expectant of your good. And it shall be.

The group at Nere Village (SKS Chakshu Foundation)
Went with Ms Maya Shahani to the beautiful residence of Mr Nirbhay and Ms Urmila Jain who with the help of the Rotary have adopted around 64 villages. Each village has a population which ranges 150 to a 1000 residents.
I am told that to empower the women was a mammoth task. They had to convince them to come when the children were in school and the house chores were done...
Sometimes those who had already experimented would attend the other villages to empower the other women...
IN the picture on the top you can see me with the 'President' They sang a beautiful song whose message was that we have to build a better beautiful world!

Ms Sangeeta Jani conducting an Art of Living Course at Nalanda Parel after we performed the puja...
We opened Nalanda...At Kamala Mills Compound, Lower Parel, it is over a 3000sq ft hall to bring knowledge and empower humanity...the concept of ancient Nalanda...A treat for the mind body and soul...
It is a culmination of 5 yrs that We did in the Times of India...

24th of March 2007
I was on the dais with the Governor of Maharashtra and so many dignitaries...but it is not the joy of the ego...it is the joy of knowing that this is what I was meant to do in life and that God carried me through....and that more than the people, He has honored me

Then I got the following via email:
As consciousness shifts, there are certain requirements for those who choose to shift as well. Those requirements are of Universal Law, and cannot be denied...

These keys are based upon the sacred geometry of the star tetrahedron..

The Keys are as follows:
We must acknowledgement our self perfection –

Acceptance of the journey for which you have come – why fight the very things which you have come to learn?

Accept Your Power – You are great and mighty. True Power comes not of ego, but the collective One of your Spirit... True Power is that which is Love, the intentional living as co-creator from within all opportunities that are offered you.

This is my Krishna. I left Him for 'looking after' with my so called 'Loved ones who had at that time (and at this time) were/are not on great terms with me due to probably old Kaarmic debts. 'The loved ones' wanted to Keep my Krishna...So I left Him with them... and they returned Him to me battered and bruised (Leg and fingers broken) I believe that my Krishna took the hits that were meant to be for me and As such... No I have not put my Krishna into the Sea...I have kept Him. He will go with my ashes when I go and He steers me accross the Ocean of Samsaara.
